Hive Housing Ltd., provide high quality Supported Living Accommodation to vulnerable adults in the Birmingham area. we have a dedicated team offering help & support to the most vulnerable in our society. Our aim is to give disadvantaged people from all backgrounds the opportunity to move onwards & upwards towards becoming independent, confident and fulfilling members of their communities. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate our customers transition to independent living.
Our Support
Our Support Services are comprehensive, and we strive to support our customers in every aspect of their day-to-day lives in which they may require help achieving their goals, including :
- SUPPORT with financial advice including personal budgeting, managing bills and debt counselling.
- SUPPORT with arranging income from benefits including filling forms & making calls & applications.
- SUPPORT with relocation arrangements including new medical registrations.
- SUPPORT in signposting to additional services such as education, employment and lifelong learning initiatives.
- SUPPORT in obtaining travel concessions for access to wider services.
- SUPPORT with shopping trips, appointments with Foodbanks and other charitable organizations as necessary.
- SUPPORT to comply with the terms of their tenancy agreement including advise on noise nuisance, harassment etc.
- SUPPORT in dealing with neighbour disputes and promoting good neighbour relationships and support to be accepted as valued members of the local community.
- SUPPORT in helping customers maintain the safety and security of their home.
- SUPPORT to ensure that their individual needs are met, including any cultural, mobility or communication needs.
